Packing
Packed in galvanized iron drums, net weight 210Kg/drum, or in ISO tank. Also can be packed according to the clients' requirement. Storage and transportation Dimethyl Carbonate is combustible. If coming into contact with oxidization, it will burn. It should be stored in a cool and windy special warehouse far from fire and transported as a combustible chemical product.
Applications
PC: DMC can be used to compound PC.
Pharmacy: DMC is mainly used to compose antibiotics, fever-reliever and painkiller, vitamin and central nervous system depressants & stimulants.
Pesticide: DMC is mainly used to produce methyl isocyanate and further produce some amino formic acid medicine, etc.
Substitute: DMC can produce phenyl methyl ether by taking the place of dimethyl sulphate, and manufacture TMAH in place of chloromethane.
DMC can produce ADC and Toluene diisocyanate by taking the place of toxic phosgene. Other fields:DMC can also be used in other fields such as solvent, dye and electrolyte, etc.
